Crockpot Chicken & Rice

We know how difficult it can be to put together quick and healthy weekday recipes. Whether it's juggling work and family or crazy hours, getting a nutritious meal on the table shouldn't be a chore. 

 

With this simple crockpot meal from Dr. Axe, you can prep in minutes and basically set it and forget it!

 

Total Time: Prep: 10 minutes; Total: 8 hours 10 minutes

Serves: 6–8

 

INGREDIENTS:
  • 2 chicken breasts, diced

  • 1 white onion, diced

  • 2 cups sprouted brown rice

  • ½ tablespoon salt

  • 1 tablespoon pepper

  • 1 tablespoon garlic

  • ½–1 cup shredded goat cheese

  • 4½–5 cups chicken bone broth

 
DIRECTIONS:

Add everything to the crock pot and cook on low for 8 hours.
